It was a beautiful day filled with meeting new people, great food, and fun games for everyone to play. Tobacco Free Adagio Health provided Rack Cards, 1-800-QUIT-NOW cards, and other great information. Families really enjoyed themselves at this event and it was a great day to celebrate the mission of Hugh Lane!

Connellsville Pride June 11th

The Connellsville Diversity and Inclusion Board hosted their first annual Pride event in Connellsville along the river. There was great conversation about our new Greensburg medical office and the services provided. The community loved receiving our resources, gave many compliments about Adagio as a whole and took business cards to make appointments. It was amazing to hear how thrilled people were that this event is being held in their town, right in their back yard, and where they call home. They no longer have to travel many miles to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. This was a big step forward for Connellsville as a whole.

The Washington community celebrated another year of Pride on Main Street on June 11th. TFAH provided bags and information about our clinical, nutrition, cancer screening, and tobacco cessation programs. We reached over 250 people in just 4 hours. The community was excited to see Adagio Health is offering services easily accessible to their community. Many individuals shared stories about receiving care from Adagio Health medical offices and shared their fond experiences with us.

On June 3rd, Sydney and Rachel from TFAH and Andrea and Gabby from Cancer Screening attended Ball on the Bridge, a one day Pride event located on the Andy Warhol bridge. We tabled with information available for all of Adagio Health’s services including tobacco information, cancer screening, WIC, and family planning. We were able to chat with over 50 members of the community who were eager to collect some information and snag some fun incentives along the way. Everyone was super appreciative of the wide array of services Adagio offers and were excited to visit the website and learn more about services that would directly benefit them or family and friends.
