Puppy Lungs at Play

We all know that smoking tobacco products comes with health risks like cancer and respiratory problems. What many of us don’t know is that our beloved dogs can be at risk for all of the same health issues from tobacco smoke as well! Dogs can be at an even higher health risk when around tobacco products, due to their curious nature of ingesting all of the “goodies” they find on adventures.

Puppy Lungs at Play is dedicated to creating safe areas for pup parents to let their best friends run free without fear of any ill effects from tobacco smoke or ingesting cigarette butts, vaping cartridges, and related litter.

Help make dog parks and recreation areas where pups are at play a tobacco-free zone in your community. Please join Tobacco Free Southwest PA in eliminating secondhand smoke exposure at all dog parks today.

Equestrian Tobacco-Free Policy

If you are an owner of an equestrian facility, you know that one of the greatest fears is to find a stable on fire. Stables are at an increased risk of fire due to the amounts of hay, feeds, dust, and a dry environment that can catch fire easily and spread even faster. Tobacco Free Southwest PA recognizes their fears and is here to help make your equine facility a tobacco free environment to decrease the risk of fires from tobacco products. We also know that being an equestrian is extremely physically demanding and we are here to help prevent second-hand smoke exposure to boarders, clients, and youth.

We are here to help all equestrian stables, summer camps, and trail riding organizations become a tobacco-free zone. Please join Tobacco Free Southwest PA in eliminating secondhand smoke and fire hazards at all equine facilities today.
